Do you want to make this school a more Fun, Safe and Friendly place to come to for everyone?
Merseyside Police would like to thank young people for behaving
responsibly on 30th October and for making it a reasonably quiet night for
complaints of anti-social behaviour.
We are very pleased that our plea to young people and families to have fun
and enjoyment on this night took place and we really hope that this
positive trend to have fun rather than getting involved in trouble will
continue in the future. It is still somewhat saddening however that we
have still been asked for help by a lot of people who had had their
property damaged.
We would once again ask you to show respect to others and your community
and not get involved in this type of behaviour – remember it could happen
to your family and friends one day so don’t be the kind of person to do
this sort of thing.
Merseyside Police have had some trading cards made with the stars from
various local teams including Liverpool, Everton and Tranmere, so look out
for them. Your local Police Officers and Community Support Officers will
have different ones each week until the end of November. Try and collect
all of them if you can.
So once again stay safe and remember show respect and you will get
respect!
Fireworks can be dangerous.
If you are under 18 and found in possession of a firework, including bangers, you can be arrested and fined £40. This even includes carrying
fireworks in your pockets.
You can also be arrested if you;
throw or light a firework in the street
make a bonfire in the street
cause injury, endanger or annoy others with a firework.
Remember it is safer to go to an organised firework display
Don't forget there are lots of fun activities and events going on right across Merseyside at this time of year. So find out what's on in your
area and log on to the Merseyide Police website at http://www.merseyside.police.uk
Do have fun with your friends but please enjoy this period safely and always respect others.
